Learning Beyond Borders
Build a Future Ready Workforce
A workforce development platform that delivers culturally adapted learning and measures the impact.
The workforce challenge
One gap, felt everywhere
Organizations struggle to prepare people for rapidly changing workforce needs.
Government
Workforce programs need to reach entire regions, not just the cities where training is easiest to deliver.
Employers
Open roles sit unfilled while candidates arrive without the practical digital and green skills the job actually needs.
Education
Graduates leave with credentials, but too often without the skills local industry is actually hiring for.
NGOs
Livelihood programs work hardest in the places conventional training reaches last: low bandwidth, low-end devices, local languages.
Why SkillsCulture
Training that fits, delivery that scales
Culturally Adapted
Training rebuilt around local workplaces, examples, and ways of learning instead of imported content with subtitles.
Industry Aligned
Curriculum shaped by what employers actually hire for, so training ends in employable skills rather than certificates.
Localized
Courses created in your workforce's own language and taught by local instructors, starting with Amharic.
Scalable
An offline-first mobile platform built for low-end devices and unreliable data, so one course can reach a whole region.
Measurable
We're building measurement in from the start, so partners can see completion, skills, and outcomes rather than enrollment numbers.
AI Powered
We use AI today to build and localize courses faster, and we're working toward an AI learning assistant that supports every learner.
Featured learning areas
Where we're building
The high-impact workforce domains we're building for. Our first course, Google Workspace for Business, is created in Amharic and in production now.

Agriculture
Climate-smart, productivity-focused skills for the people driving the region's food systems.
Green Skills
Training for the jobs a low-carbon economy is creating – renewables, sustainability, and beyond.
Water
Technical and management skills for water systems, sanitation, and resource stewardship.
Healthcare
Practical skills for community health workers and frontline care teams.
Leadership
Management and people skills that turn new capability into real results.
How it works
A partnership, step by step
Assess
Together we map your workforce: the roles, the skills gaps, and the realities on the ground.
Learn
We develop courses with you for those exact needs: culturally adapted, instructor-led, and delivered mobile-first, even offline.
Measure
We review progress with you: what's completed, what's landing, what needs adjusting.
Grow
What works, scales: more courses, more languages, more of your workforce.
Cultural adaptation
Learning that fits local communities
Courses are adapted to local language, culture and workforce realities.
Language
Courses created in the languages learners actually speak, not translated as an afterthought.
Culture
Examples, scenarios, and teaching styles drawn from learners' own world, so nothing needs decoding before it can be learned.
Industry
Content grounded in the region's real workplaces: the tools, the constraints, and the jobs that actually exist there.
Community
Taught by local instructors who know the context, because trust and relevance travel person to person.
About
Put job-ready skills within reach of every workforce in emerging markets – starting with the workers conventional training reaches last.
Partners, not customers
We work with governments, employers, NGOs, and funded programs – not individual course-buyers. Partner early and you help shape the model: which skills come first, which languages we build in, and how training fits the way your people actually work. It's a collaboration, not a purchase.
What we believe
People learn best when learning reflects their language, their culture, and their reality.
Workforce development works when governments, employers, and educators build together.
Technology should connect people to opportunity – not stand between them and it.
Meaningful learning compounds: stronger organizations, more resilient communities, sustainable growth.
That's the foundation SkillsCulture is built on.

Who is SkillsCulture for?
Governments, employers, NGOs, and funded programs that need to upskill a workforce in emerging markets. We're not a course marketplace for individual learners. We build and deliver training together with partner organizations.
How is this different from off-the-shelf e-learning?
Most online training assumes a fast connection, a capable device, and a second language. We rebuild courses around your workforce instead: taught by real instructors, in the learner's own language, with local examples – and every partnership is tailored end to end, from learning pathways and assessments to branding and reporting. It's delivered mobile-first so it works on low-end devices and unreliable data.
What languages do you support?
We start with Amharic, and the platform is built to localize into more languages as we grow. Early partners help decide which languages come next. Tell us what your workforce speaks and we'll plan around it.
What's available today?
Our offline-first mobile platform is live and ready to carry more courses and languages. Our first course – Google Workspace for Business, created in Amharic and taught by local instructors – is in production. We're early by design: courses ship when they're genuinely ready.
How does pricing work?
There's no price list. Every partnership is scoped around your program: how many learners, which courses, which languages, and how success is measured. We'll put a concrete proposal together after a first conversation.
How do we get started?
Send us a message or book a demo. Tell us about your workforce and what you're trying to achieve, and we'll map the skills gaps together and propose a pilot from there.
